Well guys most here know I am a commercial photographer and never really enjoyed photography seriously as a artist. I started out 30 years ago when playing with the idea on a 110 boots instamatic then in 1998 jumped straight in the deep end and became a commercial photographer til now a period of 13 years.

So I have now begun or soon will in little over a week and new chapter in my photography and that is I have been able to pass work on to other photographers , unless it is a very important commission ....to enable me to start my new chapter.

I am off to sicily for a month, then to India before the end of the year with a plan to document europe and most other places across the globe for the next 9 years. I can not wait to get started ...no more commission photography ...just pure self indulgence for my love of the art.

I hope to be able to visit here regularly and share with you my thoughts and life changing moments that I capture along the way.

Hi Guys arrived yesterday in Sicily ...very long day 6am start...arrived at hotel 3pm.........had a few beers ...something to eat...then bed. Started today with 8am breakfast and shot 1 roll of film...fuji of course ...already on abstract architectures.........in Palermo the capital..

Going for a la beera now will pop back guys in a few days....

Well guys I am back from Sicily and in the uk for now and untuil my next trip. I plan to develop the film from this trip over the next few weeks so will be posting a few images to share with you on here..

Hi guys well the film is developed all but a couple of rolls.

Sicily was a interesting trip and a good one for the first part of my new journey with my photography. The commercial impulse I think will never leave me and in Sicily I made some interesting connections so I decided to build a site for the Sicilian people and who ever else is interested.

Sicily will be visited again in 2011 twice , once in April / may and again in September so I can continue my documentation of this wondeful Island. Now all but a couple of films have been developed my travel hunger is back after being back in the UK for nearly 3 weeks...so I am planing my next leg of thuis journey ' probably in europe again....
